1. Interpretation and key definitions
Interpretation
In this document, certain capitalized terms have specific meanings as outlined below, applying equally to singular and plural forms.
Key definitions
- Affiliate: Any entity controlling, controlled by, or under shared control with a party, where "control" means ownership of 50% or more of voting rights.
- Account: The unique account created for your use of our Service.
- Company: Refers to DECK.SUPPORT PTE. LTD. ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our").
- Country: Refers to Singapore.
- Device: Any device capable of accessing our Service, including computers, cell phones, or tablets.
- Feedback: Suggestions or ideas shared by You regarding our Service.
- Promotions: Any contests, sweepstakes, or special offers provided through our Service.
- Service: Refers to our Google Slides add-ons available on the Google Workspace Marketplace, deck.support and deck.support enterprise, as well as our website, https://deck.support.
- Subscriptions: Paid access to features offered by the Company on a recurring basis.
- Free Trial: A no-cost period offered upon subscription, subject to specific terms.
- Terms and Conditions (also referred to as "Terms"): The rules and conditions governing the use of our Service.
- Third-party Social Media Service: Any content or services provided by a third party and accessible within or through our Service.
- Website: Refers to www.deck.support.
- You: Refers to the individual, company, or other legal entity using our Service.
2. Acknowledgment
These Terms and Conditions establish the agreement between You and DECK.SUPPORT PTE. LTD. Your use of the Service constitutes acceptance of these Terms. Please discontinue use if you do not agree.
3. Subscription terms
Subscription duration
Certain features of the Service require a paid Subscription, billed periodically (monthly, annually, or otherwise), based on your selected plan. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled by You or the Company.
Canceling your subscription
You can cancel your Subscription either directly through your Account settings or by contacting admin@deck.support. Your access will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle, and fees for the remaining period are non-refundable.
Billing information
You agree to provide accurate and current billing information, including your full name, address, and a valid payment method, which will be processed securely by Stripe.
Changes in fees
DECK.SUPPORT reserves the right to adjust Subscription fees. Changes will take effect after the current billing period, with advance notice provided. Continued use of the Service confirms your acceptance of new fees.
Refund policy
Except where required by law, Subscription fees are non-refundable. Refund requests are evaluated individually and are granted at the Company's discretion.
4. Free trials
We may offer Free Trials at our discretion. Where applicable, your billing information may be required at signup but will not be charged until the trial expires and your selected Subscription begins.
5. Promotions
Promotions may be subject to additional rules. Please review the applicable terms if participating.
6. User accounts
To maintain an account, you must provide current and accurate information. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and notifying us of any security breaches.
7. Intellectual property rights
The Service, including but not limited to its design, functionality, templates, libraries, layouts, visual assets, and workflows, is the exclusive property of DECK.SUPPORT PTE. LTD. Any unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of these assets is strictly prohibited.
8. Prohibited uses
You agree not to:
- Copy, reproduce, or modify any part of the Service or its contents without prior written permission from the Company.
- Use the Service or any component of it for the purpose of building a competing product or service, including but not limited to replicating templates, layouts, visual assets, workflows, or technical functionality.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code or underlying structure of the Service.
- Harvest or scrape data, features, or design elements in any automated or manual manner for competitive analysis or replication.
The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to any account found to be engaging in these prohibited activities.
In addition to terminating or suspending access, the Company reserves the right to report any product, service, or user found to be infringing on our intellectual property to Google and other relevant platforms. This includes, but is not limited to, submitting formal requests for removal from the Google Workspace Marketplace in accordance with Google's policies on trademark and IP violations.
9. Feedback and suggestions
By providing Feedback, you assign all rights to DECK.SUPPORT PTE. LTD. If this assignment is ineffective, you grant a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use the Feedback without restriction.
10. Links to external sites
Our Service may include links to third-party websites not controlled by us. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any external sites you visit.
11. Termination of accounts
We may suspend or terminate accounts without notice if these Terms are violated. Upon termination, your right to access the Service will immediately cease.
12. Limitation of liability
DECK.SUPPORT's total liability is limited to the amount you paid through the Service or $100 if no payments were made. We are not liable for any indirect or incidental damages, unless restricted by applicable law.
13. "As is" and "as available" disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties. We make no guarantees of uninterrupted access, compatibility, or accuracy.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, excluding its conflict of law rules.
15. Resolving disputes
If you have a dispute or concern regarding our Service, please contact us to seek a resolution informally.
16. Severability and waiver
Severability
If any provision is found to be unenforceable, it will be amended to fulfill its original intent as closely as possible, while remaining terms continue in full effect.
Waiver
Failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
17. Translation and interpretation
In case of discrepancies in translated versions of these Terms, the English version shall prevail.
18. Changes to terms
We may revise these Terms at any time, with material changes notified 30 days prior to effect. Continued use after changes take effect confirms acceptance.
